last Saturday, my elder girl, son-in-law and Ryan treated us to a dinner at a Japanese yakitori restaurant at Far East Plaza. The restaurant is called Nanbantei.
the food that my son-in-law ordered. We were all pretty stuff with all the delicious grilled meat. It was pretty pricey too, about the cost of a ten course Chinese meal.
... there were too much food and we had to pack some for takeaway.after dinner, hubby and I met up with my youngest daughter and sakura.
We had coffee at tcc while waiting for youngest daughter's hubby. He went to collect his iphone and it was a 4 hours wait for him to collect the phone!
sakura just turns 2 months on Sunday. Her fave pastime now is finding both her hands to suck! Now she totally refuses to drink her ebm from a bottle. So what are we going to do with all her milk bottles, teats and sterilizing unit???

She reaches that "rejects bottle" stage already? LOL! Don't worry, most breastfed babies go thru this, but they will still take bottle, as long as they don't sense mommies around them. :P Just have to be persistent in feeding them, but some times, can try bb feeding cup also. But if they know mommy is around and will give in to nurse, they will just reject bottle. Smart bb huh? :)

ya, she is a smiley baby except when we make her drinks from a bottle. Then became a crying one.

is it? ya, she took once when we were out shopping, but now totally reject.
ryan only rejected one whole day, unlike her, so persistence even when I gave her everyday. So can u imagine the amt of ebm we threw away?

When my daughter was born she also refuse the bottle rite from the beginning. I have no choice as I need to go back to work and my confinement leave was ending that time, so I starved her for about 2meals on 1 particular day and from then on she take the bottle without any problem.

I did that (starving) for a feed yesterday. She took the bottle. Hope that she does today without the 'starving' :)
Wow, I've been to nanbantei and agree with you it's ex. Oh, haha, join the club for queueing for iphone.. we did the Sat morning one instead of Friday evening. Sakura's hair I can't help talking about it but it's lovely. Does she look like Ryan when Ryan was young? He looks like your hubby, I think... cos I have not seen his parents. :)

hahhaha, ya, she is quite a heavy n fast growing baby. She suckles every 2 hrs leh.
oh dear. My 3 1/2 has never taken a bottle in her lifetime. She absolutely reject them the moment she knew better. It was straight from the breast to the sippy cup. Perhaps if persistence failed, you could try spooning her. We had to do that till the kid took to the sippy cup.

... n yes, she likes to be spoonfed too. Lap up like a little puppy, hahaha ... but my goodness, it takes ages for her to finish her ebm when spoonfed.
