last night, after doing some updates as recommended, I am having problems opening my own blog. Just got a message ... 'that internet explorer cannot open the site. Operation aborted.' so frustrating!!! But opening other blogs seem fine.
then I remember that I read somewhere, to remove the 'followers' widget. So I do that and now I can open my own blog. However, now the problem sift to other blogs that have the 'followers' widget in their blog. I can't see their blogs! so how ah???
looks like I can only view blogs that don't have that particular widget at this time. If I know updating can cause so much problems, I shouldn't have done the updates.

I facing the same problem, my IT guy asked me to use Mozilla Firefox program to browse blogs, and it seem ok. But I still prefer Internet Explorer, hopefully they can fix this problem soon.

don't think u have that gadget in your blog. when u go to dashboard, u'll see it beside the name of ur blog.
so when it was put in my blog, was causing the problem. I remove it but now blogs with that gadget, I can't open n read.
I thought I'm the only one who have this problem!!whenever I open my main personal blog the same abort message appear....you see I have only 5 followers only in my personal blog and each time when I open this blog the message keep appear. I have the same problem.I keep refreshing the browser couple of time until it dissapear,it's really frusting..One of my reader email me,said she can't open my blog..I thought it's Nuffnang widget so I delete it..But I still having that problem. it's weird my Kitchen blog have more than 20 follower ,I just have minor can't open browser problem with my kitchen blog..I dunno what and why it's happening..but atleast you gave me some answer I need!! Thanks! I'm going to delete my follower..and see what happen later:)

I'm using firefox so no such problem... so i just need to delete my followers list?

it's your choice. Don't worry abt me. cause guess the problem would go away. Also when I use other pc/laptop, I've no problem viewing.
It's just only the laptop that I'd update to a new version, then cant open your blog.
